GlowShift’s Honda Banjo Bolt Adapter is essential for anyone installing a Fuel Pressure Gauge to their Honda vehicle. Using this accessory makes installing the fuel pressure sensor to the fuel filter housing extremely easy as you’ll remove the stock banjo bolt and thread the new banjo bolt into the spot with one of the two crush washers at the base of the banjo bolt. Next you’ll place the banjo bolt through the fuel line, slide the other crush washer over the fuel line and thread the banjo bolt into the fuel filter. Then you will take the included 90 degree brass elbow and thread the fuel psi sensor into the female end. It is imperative to use Teflon tape on the sensor threads to ensure a tight seal. Now that the fuel pressure sender is connected to the 90 degree brass elbow, thread the brass elbow into the female end of the banjo bolt and you’re set! It’s that easy! This banjo bolt is compatible with the following vehicles: 88-91 Honda Civic / CRX, 92-95 Honda Civic, 96-00 Honda Civic, 93-97 Honda Del Sol, 92-96 Honda Prelude, 00-03 Honda S2000, as well as 90-93 Acura Integra, 94-01 Acura Integra, 91-00 Acura NSX and any fuel filter that is compatible with M12 x 1.25” Banjo Bolt.
Looking to install a boost gauge to your 6.7L Cummins diesel engine? Just added to GlowShift’s inventory is an accessory that makes installing a boost gauge to a Cummins diesel engine extremely easy, the 6.7L Cummins Boost Bolt Adapter! Using this boost bolt replaces the passenger side factory bolt on the intake manifold horn and allows you to install a boost pressure sensor or hose directly to the manifold for accurate readings directly from the source. Using a boost bolt adapter also allows you to avoid the process of drilling and tapping your intake manifold to 1/8-27 NPT for the included boost sensor or compression fittings for your particular boost gauge. Just added to GlowShift’s product lineup is an installation accessory that will dramatically cut down the time it takes to install a boost gauge sensor. That installation accessory is our Boost T-Fitting Adapter! Installing this boost t-fitting adapter is extremely easy as you’ll simply cut your vehicle’s MAP line, insert the fitting into the two cut ends of the MAP line and tighten the hose around the t-fitting by using the two included hose clamps. You’ll then thread your 1/8-27 NPT boost pressure sensor or brass compression fittings into the open port of the t-fitting and you’re set! It’s that easy!
Using this boost t-fitting adapter allows you to avoid the process of drilling and tapping into your vehicle’s intake manifold. The t-fitting adapter can be installed to any vehicle with a 3/16” MAP line, but is mainly used for 1999-2002 7.3L Ford Power Stroke and/or 2003-2007 6.0L Ford Power Stroke Engines. The most important step of installing GlowShift’s Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge to your vehicle is selecting the location of the EGT probe. To receive optimal statistics from your Pyrometer Gauge, it is recommended to install the EGT probe at the pre-turbo location of your exhaust manifold. Many users may tend to install the EGT probe at 12 inches past the location of the turbo which results in misleading temperature statistics. To show the difference between the two EGT probe locations, we installed two EGT probes to our test vehicle, 2006 Dodge Ram 5.9L 24 Valve Cummins with a 5 inch exhaust pipe. The EGT probe that was installed 12 inches past the turbo read about 300° – 500° F cooler than the EGT probe that was installed at the pre-turbo location, which read about 800° F. This is an extreme difference in the temperature being displayed on your gauge which is inaccurate from the actual performance of the EGT. If your EGT is running too hot and you are unaware, it can lead to major engine break down including burning oil which leads to coking and melting internal components such as the pistons and crack heads.

Narrowband Air/Fuel Ratio Gauges:
GlowShift’s Analog Narrowband Air/Fuel Gauges indicate general engine air fuel readings of Rich, Optimal and Lean mixtures. This Air Fuel Gauge installs directly to your vehicle’s existing narrowband oxygen sensor with the included wiring harness. GlowShift offers Narrowband Air Fuel Gauges in virtually every gauge series including Tinted 7 Color, Black 7 Color, White 7 Color, Elite 10 Color, White Elite 10 Color, as well as Red Digital, Blue Digital and Tinted Gauge Series. A Narrowband Air Fuel Gauge is a great option to ensure your vehicle’s engine is not running on the lean side, but it will not give you the precise readings like Wideband Air Fuel Gauges that utilize Bosch’s O2 Sensor and Digital Wideband Controller.
Installing aftermarket gauges can become a messy process with all of the included power and sensor wire harnesses in one tight location of the pod. Luckily GlowShift’s Elite Gauge Series and White Elite Gauge Series feature a daisy chain ability that allows you to power up to 4 gauges together in sequence with a minimal amount of wires used. The daisy chain feature frees up space inside the gauge pod for other wires such as sensor wiring and/or if you’re adding an external warning light. The first gauge of the sequence is the only gauge that you’ll have to connect to a power source and you can wire the remaining gauges to receive power from the first gauge with the included dual modular connection wire harnesses.
If you happen to be installing an Elite or White Elite Series Volt Gauge and utilize the daisy chaining ability, make sure the Volt Gauge is the first gauge of the daisy chaining sequence. If the Volt Gauge isn’t the first gauge of the sequence, it will not read correctly due to the drop in voltage used to power the gauge resulting in inaccurate volt readings. However, the drop in voltage will not affect any other gauge readings on your Boost, Oil Pressure, Fuel Pressure or Pyrometer EGT Gauge. Analog Wideband Air/Fuel Gauges:
GlowShift’s Analog Wideband Air/Fuel Gauges are available in both Elite and White Elite Gauge Series that read from 10 to 20 AFR and include a peak recall function, programmable high and low warnings, and stepper motor technology which allows for extremely smooth and accurate movement of the illuminated red needle. The programmable high and low warnings will send alerts visually and/or audibly with a tone that notifies you that your vehicle’s air/fuel mixture is at optimal levels. Users can select from 10 different LED colors to illuminate their gauge to match their vehicle’s interior or to add a custom, aftermarket style.
Data Logging Capability:
This data logging function allows you to send output signals to an aftermarket data logger. There is a 0-1V output, 0-5V output, and ground output for the connection to the data logger. Again, the data logging output capability is NOT available for the Tinted Series Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge.

Boost Bolt Adapter:
GlowShift’s Boost Bolt Adapter is used when installing any Boost Gauge and threads directly into the intake manifold horn of any 1998.5-2009 Dodge Ram Cummins. It’s important to install directly into the intake manifold because you’ll receive the most accurate gauge readings directly from the source. In order to install the boost bolt, you must first locate the intake manifold. There should be a removable bolt that you will replace with the boost bolt adapter. If you do not want to the remove the bolt to replace with the boost bolt, you’ll have to drill and tap into your intake manifold by using GlowShift’s 1/8 NPT Drill and Tap Kit. Included with the drill and tap kit is a size R drill bit and a 1/8 NPT tap that will allow you to thread the boost bolt into the intake manifold.
Transmission Test Port Extender:
GlowShift’s Transmission Test Port Extender is used when installing the temperature sensor of your Transmission Temperature Gauge to test port of your truck. The 1/8 NPT Transmission Test Port Extender is required when installing any transmission temperature gauge to your 1994-2009 Dodge Ram. If you decide not to use the sender extender, the sensor will protrude too far into the test port and cause expensive damage.
Banjo Bolt Adapter:
GlowShift’s Banjo Bolt is specifically designed for the 1998.5-2009 with a 24 valve Cummins motor. The banjo bolt will replace your stock bolt and allows you to easily install the snubber valve paired with the fuel pressure sensor directly to the fuel filter housing. The featured thread size for the banjo bolt is the same stock size that comes included with your Dodge Ram for a perfect fit.
Required for 30 PSI Fuel Pressure Gauge
GlowShift’s 1/8 NPT Snubber Valve regulates and eliminates fuel pressure spikes existing throughout the fuel system during the initial start-up of the diesel engine. The Snubber Valve limits high pressure spikes in fuel system, which are harmful and can cause unexpected failure of the electronic fuel pressure sensor for your fuel pressure gauge or other fuel pressure devices. It is to be installed in line between the pressure port of the diesel fuel system and fuel pressure sensor.
Optional Installation Accessories:
1/8 NPT Drill and Tap Kit:
As I mentioned above in the Boost Bolt section of this post, the 1/8 NPT Drill and Tap Kit is used for drilling into either the intake and/or exhaust manifolds to properly install the sensor to the source for extremely accurate gauge readings. For most Dodge Ram applications you will not have to drill and tap into your intake manifold to install the boost bolt, but if you’re installing a Pyrometer Gauge, you’ll need to drill and tap into the exhaust manifold to install the EGT probe.
Sensor Relocation Hose Kit:
GlowShift’s Sensor Relocation Hose allows you to reposition the gauge sensor from harmful vibrations of the motor to less active locations such as the firewall and fender well. This hose kit comes included with 3 feet of fuel rated steel braided hose, a male 1/8 NPT thread, a female 1/8 NPT thread and a ¾ inch cushion clamp that securely holds the sensor in place.
